Amritsar, January 18, 2019 :- Guru Nanak Dev University is to partner with the Govt. of Punjab to organize a Boot camp in the University as a part of Startup India Punjab Yatra to be organized from January 16-31, 2019. The startup India Punjab Yatra has already been flagged off on January 16, 2019 by honourable Chief Minister of Punjab. In this regard, Guru Nanak Dev University is organizing a Boot camp on January 24, 2019.
The boot camp will present the government initiatives to promote Startups, ideation workshops and idea pitching session. Ideas from students will be shortlisted from this Boot camp and these shortlisted ideas will pitch at the grand finale for incubation offers and incentive by resource partners.
Dr. P.K. Pati, President IIC and Nodal Officer of this event said that around 250 participants from the various colleges and institutions are expected to participate in this Boot camp to be held at Sri Guru Granth Sahib Bhawan of the university. He appealed to the aspiring youngster to participate in the Boot camp to nurture the new Startup ideas. He further said that this Boot camp will provide a platform to budding entrepreneurs so that they can fulfil their Startup dream. He said that registration is free of cost and on spot registration will start on January 24, 2019 at 9:30 AM at S+ri Guru Granth Sahib Bhawan of the university.
