Ludhiana, January 22,2019: Most of the political leaders who met at Ludhiana under the umbrella of Punjab Democratic Alliance (PDA) on Tuesday had different opinions about inclusion of AAP in the alliance. While SAD Taksali President Ranjit Singh Brahmpura said that discussion to bring AAP into the alliance could soon be held, another leader of the party Sewa Singh Sekhwan said that he had already talked to AAP leader and MP Bhagwant Mann for his party to join the alliance but the latter did not agree to it.
Brahmpura claimed that even Punjabi Ekta Party President Sukhpal Singh Khaira has agreed on making AAP a member of PDA.
However firebrand leader and Lok Insaf Party MLA Simarjeet Singh Bains openly opposed AAP and stated that a party that shared stage with Congress in Kolkata cannot be a part of PDA.
Meanwhile a decision to include BSP in the alliance was also pending.
