The gang was terror in many states: SP Sangeeta Kalia

Nuh, 22 February, 2019: In a swift and successful operation of the police, a dreaded gangster, Arshad Mohd has been killed in a shootout with the police in Mewat on the outskirts of Bisru in Nuh district on Thursday.
Arshad Mohd was wanted in more than 9 cases registered in Mewat, Mathura, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and other parts. The cases included attempt to murder and robberies. This gang has also looted 100 ATMs in seven states across the country. He carried a reward Rs 25000 (thousand) on his head. The police team is also successful in capturing three of his accomplices on the spot. The gang is wanted in 14 cases registered against them in different police stations.
Sharing this information, Sangeeta Kalia SP of Nuh said “The gang was a terror in many states. There are more than 20 members in the gang and we are investigating their involvement in other crimes as well”.
Kalia further said “Mathura police has informed us on Wednesday that they have arrested one of their gang member and seized a truck which was on its way to Nuh after they broke open an ATM in the city” We immediately formed the teams to nab them, added Sangeeta Kalia.
The SP said “The gang was facing more than 14 FIRs in different states, which included attempt to murder and robberies. They have looted 100 ATMs in seven states across the country”.
It is worth mentioning here, that the woman IPS officer, SP Sangeeta Kalia, is a capable officer, who has joined here on Wednesday. She is said to be one of the tough officers of Haryana cadre, who is unyielding to pressure.
