Hisar, March 22,2019: A 15-month-old boy who fell into a 60-feet deep borewell in Hisar district of Haryana was rescued safely after 47 hours on Friday.
The child, Nadeem Khan fell into the borewell on Wednesday evening while playing in Balsamand village of Hisar. Indian Army and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) personnel and local authorities were involved in the rescue operation who had dropped oxygen tubes inside the borewell while the operation was going on to help the child.
The child was the son of labourer Azam Khan. A GPS tracker and CCTV cameras had been sent inside the borewell to track the exact location of the child. As soon as the team got the location, the process to rescue the child was expedited. Another parallel bore was dug next to the main borewell to rescue the child.
Though the child was fine when recovered, yet he was sent to Agroha Medical College for check-up.
Meanwhile legal action against the one who dug the borewell without permission will be taken by the authorities.
