Ballia, May 14, 2019: (UNI) Alleging that Bharatiya Janata Party was not implementing the reservation properly and making efforts to abolish it, Bahujan Samajwadi chief Maywati here on Tuesday asserted that if a BSP-coalition government is formed in the Centre, she will extend reservation system in private jobs too.
BJP is trying to change the constitution and social and federal structure of nation being targeted, Ms Maywati alleged.
Addressing election gatherings here, Ms Mayawati and Samajwadi president Akhilesh Yadav claimed that Modi government policies only benefit few big businessmen while development of commoners was completely neglected.
Poverty has increased and atrocities on poor, women, farmers were rampant in past five years, they alleged.
Ms Mayawati alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government in the Centre failed to implement scheme properly and strategically. She said that GST and demonetisation was forced in without any prior consultations. Youngsters lost jobs and small traders were distressed, she underlined.
On national security, BSP president claimed that territorial borders were not secured in BJP regime and terrorism was rising in sensitive areas.
Slamming Congress, she said that party was out of power due to wrong policies.
SP president Akhilesh Yadav said that BJP made fake promises in 2014 Lok Sabha elections. He alleged that BJP was scared from indications after six phase polling and now they were making false allegations due to their fear.
He claimed that plights of farmers were ignored in BJP government regime. Farmers were promised to get about one and half times price of their investment but nothing came into reality. Youngsters supported BJP for employment but they were down in the mouth after five years.
