Ludhiana, May 19, 2019: Congress candidate MP Ravneet Singh Bittu today visited more than than 200 booths to have a look at the polling process and met the party functionories performing duties inside and out side the polling booths to facilitate the voters. He appreciated the excellent work of the party workers deputed as polling agents on booths and out side.
Bittu on the conclusion of polling expressed his thanks to the voters for coming out from houses daring scorching heat in large numbers to excercise their franchise in a peaceful way, which will help in further strengthening democracy in country. Mr. Bittu also expressed his gratitude towards the party leaders, workers and other functionaries for making all out efforts to mobilise the voters to reach polling booths for casting votes.
He also asserted that it is clear from the huge rush on the congress booths, Congress will register victory with big margin.
Cabinet Minster Bharat Bhushan Ashu, Rakesh Panday, Surinder Dawar, Kuldeep Singh Vaid, Sanjay Talwar(all MLAs) supervised the polling process in their respective constituencies and appreciated the party functionories for their hard work. Ex- Minister Malkiat Singh in Dakha Jahraon Halka, Major Singh Bhaini Halka Dakha, President DCC, Ashwani Sharma in Ludhiana city and President DCC(R) Soni Galib in Ludhiana Rura also visited the polling booths and encouraged the voters and party workers.
Mr. Bittu added that right from the begining of election campaign, his suppoters had worked overtime with full dedication to reach out to more and more people to get support the Congress party
