Brampton, July 24, 2019: It is summer time here in Canada and things can get pretty warm with temperatures hovering near 30 degree Celsius but relief is at hand, at least for people of South Asian origin, especially Punjabis from India and Pakistan, as an enterprising Sikh has set up a stall on the roadside, just like back home, to sell ice-cool and refreshing sugarcane juice, squeezed in the traditional way in the McLaughlin & Wanless area of Brampton.
