Chandigarh, September 11, 2019: Employees of Punjab Cooperatives will no longer receive a two-year extension in service period after the age of 58.
An order issued by the Registrar of Cooperative Societies states that the retirement age of the employees working in the cooperative societies has been fixed at 58 years.
They will not be able to work after the stipulated period so they will be retired.
If an employee's term has been extended for a period of one year or two years, he will retire after the extension period ends and he will be given no further extension.
