November.13, 2019: 550th Pakash Utsav of Guru Nanak Dev Ji proved boon for a sleepy nearby village Iserhail as the various development projects worth Rs.3.84 Crore initiated by the State Govt. under its special scheme to develop all historical villages being visited by Guru Nank Dev Ji have been completed. The village Gurudwara has the proud privilege of having been visited by Guru Nank Dev Ji during his preaching journey ( Udasi) and He sat under a tree near the Theh ( Mound), which is still there in Gurudwara and Kuljit Singh Nagra MLA cum Advisor to CM brought this into the notice of CM and he sanctioned various projects for the village.
Kuljit Singh Nagra Advisor to CM said that to spread the message of Pavan Guru, Pani Pita and Mata Dharth of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, specially designed 'Guru Ka Bagh' Guru Nank Sacred Forest has been developed near Gurdwara Sri Theh Sahib having trees of more than 35 varieties of Mangos in 2.5 acres. He said that special efforts are being made to conserve the Historical tree of 'karrer' present near Gurdwara Sahib, where Guru Sahib sat. He said that high tech solar lights have been installed on the road proceeding towards historical Gurdwara Sri Theh Sahib from Fatehgarh Sahib - Chandigarh Road, Park and Library in Gurudwara Sahib, Gym for village youths, bus shelter, cleaning of village pond water through Seechewal model, up gradation of the school, construction of Dharamshala, Sewerage system, up gradation of the village pond and beautification of its en-catchments have been completed and these will be dedicated to people after the Bhog Ceremony to be performed tomorrow.
He said that the historical importance of village would be highlighted at world level, so that the devotees who come to pay obeisance at historical Gurudwara Fatehgarh Sahib and Jyoti Swarup Sahib may visit this historical Gurudwara.
