Chandigarh, November 22, 2019: As part of Samsung’s on-going series #IndiaOnGalaxy, two young photographers from the Delhi University Photography Club (DUPC) travelled to Amritsar, carrying with them Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus smartphones, and captured the beauty of Gurpurab, the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev ji, the first Sikh Guru.
The sight of thousands of devotees celebrating Gurpurab at the stunning 450-year old Gurdwara Sri Harmandir Sahib, also known as Golden Temple, Amritsar brings joy like none other.
People offering prayers, taking a holy dip in the sarovar (the holy pond), children lighting lamps and magnificent fireworks in the sky, are a delight to watch.
India is a land of many people, many faiths. Here, not only do we have beautiful people, they make the world prettier with festivals that come in myriad colours and shimmering lights.
We took a look at the stunning visuals the two young photographers, Ammar and Aryan, have captured, and get wowed.
