12 Day induction training programme for employees of Bathinda organised by MGSIPA concludes
Bathinda, December 7, 2019: Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration Punjab (MGSIPA), Regional Centre Bathinda Organised 12 days Induction Training Programme for newly recruited cutting edge level state government functionaries of district Bathinda which concluded here today. About 35 Group-C employees of different departments of district Bathinda who were recruited in recent past took part in this programme.This programme was sponsored by Department of Personnel & Training Govt.of India.
Interacting with theparticipants at veldictory ceremony of Training programme, Regional Project Director Bathinda Mr. Jarnail Singh took feedback from the participants and evaluated the proceedings of academic sessions by experts (Resource Persons)during 12-days training programme.He motivated the participants to work in their respective establishments in team spirit and to adopt positive attitude in the process of official dealings. He said that in this competitive world, there is a need of upgrading technologies and skills & knowledge of government functionaries at all levels regarding various acts, rules regulations and office procedures. He said that this kind of approach will help in increasing our efficiency and quality of delivery services to the people. He expressed the hope that this programme will be a successful venture and asked the participants to make use of knowledge and skills imparted by experts during this training programme.
Mr. Jarnail Singh, further said that the MGSIPA organizes more than 250 programmes every year on various themes and subjects such as Office Procedures, Financial Rules, RTI Act 2005, Sevottom, Audit and Budget, E-Office, E-governance, Gender Issues, Disability related matters, Induction Training Programmes, COMMIT and various other important topics. He said that in recent years, the MGSIPA considerably has expanded scope of work and activities under the able leadership of Sh. KBS Sidhu IAS, Special Chief Secretary –cum- Director General and Mrs.Jaspreet Talwar, IAS, Director MGSIPA, Chandigarh..
During the training programme,the participants were made conversant with the schemes of Govt. of India and Punjab, applications of Unicode, , Stress Management, Art of Noting and Drafting, Office Procedure, Conduct Rules, Record Management, Financial Rules, Civil Service Rules, Audit & Budget, Filing System, Punishment & Appeal Rules, T.A./D.A. Rules, Leave Rules. He said that the participants donated blood in the camp orgainzed at the Regional Centre MGSIPA. One-day Rural field visit of the participants was organized at village Sivia to enable their exposive them to ground realities.
Mr. Mandeep Singh coordinator MGSIPA said that the participants have showing keen interest in the training programme and there was an enthusiastic response from government offices.
