thousands take benefit of fourth Free Mega Integrated health check up Camp by Joshi Foundation
Chandigarh 15 December 2019: Punjab Governor and UT administrator mister VP Singh Badnore today commended Joshi foundation for holding fourth Free Mega Integrated health check up Camp and serving humanity. He said this while inaugurating fourth Mega medical checkup camp held by Joshi foundation in Sector 15 Chandigarh. He said that providing free Medical Services to common man was the greatest help to humanity. It not only enables the poor to have best of medical facility but also creates awareness amongst other people.
He was pleased to be part of the camp where all systems of medicine including allopathy Ayurvedic and Homoeopathic systems were put to use to diagnose and treat people. Apart from this Yoga meditation and astrology were also part of the camp. He also appreciated the efforts of Joshi foundation in promoting organic and nutritious diet.
Addressing the people the foundations chairperson and former media advisor to the chief minister of Punjab Mr Vineet Joshi said that from next year onwards medical camp will be held for 2 days. He added that the Joshi family has started holding these medical camps in memory of their father Shri Jairam Joshi and brother Navneet Joshi. He added that a large number of people have taken advantage of this camp which has also been held in collaboration with various organisation's. He added that more than 10000 people have taken benefit of this camp which is double than the number last year. He said that since December 3 patients were being registered and free blood test bone test and test test were conducted. Number of such patient has crossed above 4000.
The president of Joshi Foundation Saurabh Joshi said that giving free Medical Services to the needy was the main aim of Joshi family. He added that it was a way of Joshi family to pay tributes towards family members. During the camp a team of stage artists from PGI named Utsav Kala Manch presented a play on organ donation whereas Abhinaya theatre team presented a play on Nar Seva Narayan Seva.
