DCMS conducts debate amid growing concern over social media’s impact
Ferozepur, January 25, 2020: Amid growing concern over social media’s impact and influence on today’s youth, DCM School of Groups organized a debate under the Parent Partnership Programme – PPP – at DC Model Senior Secondary School, in which the parents of students, grandparents also participated.
The main purpose of the program was to give children and families an opportunity to interact and spend time together.
Principal, Rakhi Thakur said, the family members don’t get an opportunity to sit and spend time together and the purpose of DCM Group of Schools is to ensure that students in the school are motivated to imbibe good rites from parents and grandparents.
In the program, while the students were put wiser about the pluses and minuses of the impact of social media and technology, they also presented their expression on the canvas on the topics of environment, Swachh Bharat, Mera Bharat Mera Abhiman, Basant Festival etc.
Principal Rakhi Thakur said that it was a worthwhile effort to give parents and children the opportunity to spend quality time.
Parents present appreciated the commendable initiative of the school administration. They said that by participating in such programs, the DCM group was providing the children with an opportunity to excel in every field to enjoy every aspect of their lives.
