Chandigarh, February 17, 2020: Panjab University’s MOOC course on “Digital Marketing” has been ranked at 15th spot in the list of 30 Best Online Courses globally for the year of 2019.
The ranking has been released by the Class Central, a search engine that list thousands of free online courses from top universities around the world like MIT, Stanford, and Harvard.
According to Class Central, out of 2400 online courses offered in 2019, 30 best online courses have been indentified based on the Bayesian Average Method.
This list also includes the courses offered by world’s top universities such as University of Leeds, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of British Columbia, the University of Texas and so on.
At Panjab University, this course is being offered by Dr. Tejinderpal Singh, Associate Professor at University Business School on Government of India’s online education platform “SWAYAM”.
The first batch of this course has already been concluded in the month of November, 2019 where around 8000 students registered for this course.
According to Dr. Singh, “this course has 40 Modules covering various domains of digital marketing such as search engine marketing, display advertising, email marketing, social media marketing, Google analytics etc. All modules have been developed with a focus on practical learning of all digital marketing tools.
Further, Dr. Tejinderpal added that there is no fee for the course and anyone who is interested in learning digital marketing can join this course. The next batch of this course at Panjab University will be starting in the month of July 2020 and the information will be available on https://swayam.gov.in/.
