Good news for Ferozepurians, no Corona positive case till now, two suspected patients test reports turned out negative
Ferozepur, March 24, 2020: Good news for Ferozepourians as amid growing outbreak of Coronavirus the test reports of two suspected Coronavirus patients have come out negative. Both of these patients were admitted to Ferozepur Civil Hospital due to symptoms related to the coronavirus, from which they were later referred to medical colleges in Faridkot and Ludhiana. The blood samples of the two were sent to a government-authorized laboratory for investigation, from which the report of both of them came out negative on Tuesday.
Giving detailed information, Deputy Commissioner Kulwant Singh said that this is good news for Ferozepur district as no positive case of Coronavirus has been reported in the district till now. Given the symptoms of these two patients, their samples were sent for investigation by the health department, after which a negative report has come out. He said that after the treatment, the health of these two patients is improving and soon they will be discharged from the hospital. Both of them were kept in the isolation ward of the hospital for treatment where they were being treated on behalf of a team of expert doctors.
Deputy Commissioner said that only two patients from Ferozepur district were sent to the VRDL Lab of Amritsar Medical College after their symptoms were noticed by the health department on the noticeable appearance of the coronavirus, from which a negative report from both has been received. He said that this negative report was quite a relief for other people of the district as both these people had come in contact with the people in large numbers, so now there was no danger of the Coronavirus.
Deputy Commissioner Kulwant Singh appealed to the people that they should follow the directives issued by the government on the Carona virus and stay in their homes during the curfew. People can break the link of the spread of the Coronavirus with social distance.
