Two booked for violating Curfew orders
SSP appeals to stay at home to fight with coronavirus
Ferozepur, March 26, 2020: The Ferozepur police have booked two persons for allegedly violating the curfew orders issue by the district magistrate under orders of state government.
The Kulgarhi police station under Section 188 (disobedience to an order lawfully promulgated by a public servant) of the IPC, identified as Vinod Kumar and Ravinder.
Baldev Singh, IO informed that he was present at Sandhe Hasham village, the alleged accused were seen coming on a bike late night and on asking, they could not give a satisfactory reply. Both were booked for violating the curfew orders under Section 188 IPC.
SSP Bhupinder Singh said, despite the fact that the curfew was imposed, some people were came out of their houses and violated the orders. They have been warned not to move out. Only two persons have been booked for violating the curfew orders in the district moving without any valid pass or reason, He however, appealed to the people to cooperative with the administration to fight with the challenge of coronavirus by staying at home. He said, only staying at home is the remedy to control the spreading of virus which has now become a global challenge.
He said there was no relaxation in the curfew so barring people involved in essential services such as medical staff and mediapersons, no one was allowed to move.
