Fatehgarh Sahib. March.26, 2020: Amrit Kaur Gill Deputy Commissioner informed that out of 536 NRIs, who landed in different villages and towns of Fatehgarh Sahib district, since the coronavirus threat started all over the world 206 have been quarantined at home, whereas the others have crossed the 14 days limit. She said that the list of 507 passengers was sent by the union government and 30 passengers reported at their own, whereas one passengers identified as Beant Singh 33 resident of Rajgarh Channa sub division Amloh has not yet reported and he is untraceable. She said that efforts are being made to trace him as he is not available at the given address.
She said that there were 8 suspects of coronavirus and their blood samples were taken and out of these 6 have been found negative, whereas the result of two is awaited. She urged the people to the instructions of the government as curfew has been imposed for their safety.
