SBI employees to get extra salary for working during COVID-19
New Delhi, March 27, 2020 : State Bank of India has decided to give extra salary to employees who are working during COVID-19 and providing services to bank consumers.
In a circular issued by Dy. Managing Director (HR) and Corporate Development officer Alok Kumar Choudhary One Day’s salary means Basic Pay+DA will be paid for every 6 working days on which an employee has worked, starting from 23.03.2020 to 14.04.2020 to till the end of National lockdown whichever is earlier.
It said that amount will be payable to all the staff members posted in Branches, CPCs, CACs, Treasury operations, Global Markets, GITC and IT Services. The payment will be made to the eligible staff through HRMS after the stated period.
