Fatehgarh Sahib. April 02, 2020: With the inputs from intelligence, police and people, the district health department have identified and traced thirty two persons, who attended Hazrat Nizamuddin event at Delhi and they have been home quarantined for 10 days. Dr. N.K.Aggarwal Civil Surgeon said that those identified are 13 from Delhi, 11 from Aurangabad and 8 from Fatehgarh Sahib District. He said they all are Islamic Missionary activity promoters.
He said that some of them have been home quarantined at Khamano and Sirhind towns, one is admitted in Rajindra hospital Patiala and two are accompanying him. He said they all are asymptomatic and there is nothing to worry as they are under constant surveillance of the health department, moreover they have completed the 14 day quarantined day.
He said besides this all 59 pilgrims who returned from Hazur Sahib have been home quarantined.
Meanwhile Dr. N.K.Aggarwal Civil Surgeon all the 719 NRIs who came to the district have been identified and traced. He said that the limit of 14 days home quarantine of 565 NRIs have been crossed, whereas 154 NRIs are still home quarantine, whereas 329 have been pasted with stickers. He said that 15 suspected patients for COVID were tested and all of them were found negative. He said there is no COVID patient in the district.
