Nawanshahr, April 04, 2020: The Art of Living Nawanshahr along with other institutions is providing ration to the needy Along with providing relief material for the help of more than one hundred and fifty families, publicity is also being done in every district to prevent infection.
In its ongoing efforts, The Art of Living volunteers have been working tirelessly to provide material relief in all corners of the country from Maharashtra, Karnataka to Punjab, MP, West Bengal, Chattisgarh, Telangana, Delhi and Jammu, reaching out to over thousands daily wage workers and migrant labourers stuck in different parts of the country. To support daily wage earners during lockdown, Art of Living Nawanshahr is providing a family's ration for 10 days to the Daily Wage Earners in Nawanshahr Area with the help of other Organisation and AOL Volunteers. In association with International Association for Human Values, The Art of Living Nawanshahr has packed 150 Kits containing the essential items such as Wheat, Daal, Rice, Spices, Oil , Sugar , Tea and biscuits and have been provided to daily-wage earners who were working around the slum areas and factoires in focal point of Nawanshahr .
Over 25,000 workers and their family members across Punjab have been provided with essential relief material to last them about a week. Art of Living Nawanshahr Created a Special Whatsapp Group NAR SEWA NARAYAN SEWA for helping the Daily Wage earners . Manoj Kanda, District Teacher Coordinator and Media Coordinator of Nawanshahar Chapter of the organization will cooperate with every person in this difficult time, told that ration is being provided to the needy in all the districts of Punjab till now and in future also The efforts of the institution will continue to help every needy, he said that this time to turn inward from the outside world. He appealed everyone to come forward and contribute for social service so that the message of Vasudev Kutumbakam can be given to the world. He told that to bring people out of this environment, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji is also doing online meditation twice a day, which is reducing the stress in the people. In this work, Vinod Bhardwaj, Gurcharan Arora, Raman Malhotra, Rajan Arora, Sanjeev Duggal, Sanjeev Chopra, Manoj Jagpal, Pradeep Sharda, Pradeep Bhasin, Rohit Midda, Rajinder Trehan, Vikas Jangra, Rajkumar, Ratna Jain, Pankaj Bhuchar etc has played an important role. The Art of Living also praised the service work being done by all the other temples and gurdwaras in the city.
