No corona case in Ferozepur, consider relaxing curfew in districts with zero coronavirus case, Pinki MLA to CM
Ferozepur, April 8, 2020: The government is fully prepared for the hassle-free harvesting of wheat and marketing operations and farmers will not face any sort of problem. In view of coronavirus threat, special attention will be given to ensure social distancing and this time, the mandis will be set up at the village level, said Parminder Singh Pinki, during a talk with the Chief Minister through video conference.
He said, the government will ensure the purchase each grain of the farmer and this time, keeping a social distancing is need of the hour.
Apprising the CM about the situation in Ferozepur, Pinki said, there is not even a single positive case of coronavirus as all the samples sent for lab test were reported as negative, for which the citizens of Ferozepur deserve appreciation, who have followed the curfew orders understanding its importance in view of the threat of the virus.
Pinki MLA said, the situation in Punjab has not deteriorated because of alertness of the Punjab government as Punjab was the first state to impose curfew in the country, who took the timely decision. This is the reason that this virus could not spread like other countries.
He also gave suggestion during the video conference, there is a need to consider to relax curfew with zero coronavirus case. A proposal to open new primary health centres so that ground-level people could also be examined.
Likewise, he also proposed to open a Corona War Room besides keeping a close eye on the black marketing of essential commodities so that there is no shortage of any item during the period of curfew.
Advocate, Gulshan Monga said, the people should cooperate with the government as the life is very precious and it is imperative to save it at any cost and it could only be possible if we all follow the curfew rules.
