Judicial Officers and staff contributes one day salary to CM relief Fund

Fatehgarh Sahib, April10, 2020 : Reacting to the appeal of Chief Minister to donate generously for the help of aftermath of COVID pandemic, the District Judicial Officers and staff led by Nirbhow Singh Gill District and Session Judge has contributed one day's salary to the tune of Rs.2.23 Lakh to the Chief Minister Relief Fund.
Asish Kumar Bansal Civil Judge Senior Division disclosed that on the appeal of District and Session Judge that they must contribute for the welfare of the pandemic affected persons, they decided to contribute one day’s salary. He said that due to the spread of pandemic COVID-19, the world is facing an unprecedented confront amid communities and economies. The world is coming together to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, bringing governments, organizations, industries and individuals together.
He said that it is the time when everyone should come forward and extend whatever support he can, every contribution is imperative, what matters is the lives of people. The Judicial Officers also expressed gratitude to doctors, nurses, sanitation workers, police, government staff, and other people who are engaged in providing essential services.
They urged the people to obey the directions of the government and must maintain social distancing and to remain inside.
