Gurdwara Khichdi Sahib
Balbera (Patiala), April 12, 2020: Seven nihangs, who attacked policemen in the Sanaur vegetable market today morning have been apprehended by the police from Gurdwara Khichdi Sahib, village Balbera, tehsil Sanaur.
The nihangs had attacked the policemen after they were asked to produce curfew pass. After attacking the policemen the nihangs fled and hid in the gurdwara. Three policemen were injured in the attack, including an ASI who lost his hand.

A police team reached the spot and started an operation to arrest the culprits. DIG Jeetinder Aulakh and Patiala SSP Mandeep Singh Sidhu are at the spot overseeing the operation. Gunshots were heard but it is not clear at the moment who fired them.
One of the arrested nihangs, who has a gunshot wound, has been hospitalised.
