Important Things to Carry for SSC CPO 2019 Exam
Staff Selection Commission has mentioned the list of important things which are to be carried on the day of SSC Central Police Examination. In past years, few candidates had failed to produce necessary documents at the time of verification and had to walk back home without giving the exam. Make sure that you avoid this mistake and carry the specified documents to the exam centre. At the same time, try not carrying the prohibited items at the exam hall.
It is recommended to go through the examination instructions printed on the admit card or those mentioned in the official notice released by SSC. The admit card for SSC CPO exam is yet to be issued. What to carry on the day of SSC CPO 2019 Exam?
CPO Admit Card 2018-19: Undoubtedly, this is the most important document as it plays the role of your identity at SSC CPO examination hall. A candidate who turns up for the exam without admit card will not be allowed to enter the examination centre.
3 Passport size photographs (3 cm x 3.5 cm): You will be required to affix a photograph on the admit card. For convenience, you can bring the admit card with photograph attached to it.
Photo Identity proof: Apart from admit card, you should have an additional identity proof at the exam hall. You can bring any one of these- Aadhar Card/ Voter ID/ Driving License/ PAN Card or Passport.
Things ‘not to carry’ on day of SSC CPO 2019 Exam
In the official notification, the commission has prohibited the possession of following items:
- Mobile Phones, calculator, Bluetooth device, or any other electronic device
- Paper cheats, books, notebooks, etc.
In case the invigilator catch hold of someone with possession of any of the above items, it will be considered as an unfair means and lead to cancellation of candidature. On top of it, such candidates will be liable for debarment up to a period of 3 years.

A candidate appearing for the exam must keep the following points in mind:
- You should not appear for the exam if you do not satisfy the eligibility criteria. The registration and payment of application fee alone does not make you eligible for the recruitment process. Check out the eligibility criteria in the official notification.
- A candidate is advised to avoid carrying any prohibited item in the exam hall.
- There should be no discrepancy on the admit card otherwise you may not be considered for further recruitment process. In case of any discrepancy, you should immediately contact the concerned Regional/ Sub-Regional Offices of the commission.
- Candidates have also been recommended to keep 10 copies of the same photograph, which they had uploaded in the online application. As these copies might come in use in the succeeding stages of recruitment.
- An entrant must abstain from tampering the admit card. A tampered admit card will not be accepted.
- Any candidate found disrupting the examination process, instigating other candidates or indulged in any unruly behavior in exam hall will be penalized in form of cancellation of candidature.

2. What is the marking scheme of SSC CPO tier-1 exam?
