Jalandhar, August 8, 2020- Taking a forward step towards fulfilling ‘Ghar Ghar Rozgar’ dream of Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, the teams of District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises (DBEE) on Friday met prominent industrialists of the city at their doorsteps and sought their wholeheartedly support for making online mega job fair from September 24 to 30 a huge success.
On the orders of Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori, various teams of DBEE led by Deputy Director DBEE Sunita Kalyan along with Depuy CEO Deepak Bhalla, Placement officer Perry Saini, Career Counsellor Jasvir Singh called upon President CII, Jalandhar Varinder Kalsi, Sports and surgical complex association Manish Arora, Jalandhar chambers of commerce & industryCharanjit Singh Maingi and President Jalandhar focal point Ashwani Victor.
Besides, the teams also visited to prominent industrialists Mukal Verma, Narinder Saggu, Tejinder Bhasin.
Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori said that the main thrust of the visits was to get acquainted about the nature of the manpower they were looking for. He said that this would ensure a pool of skilled and educated manpower to the industrialists as per their requirements.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the industrialists were also requested to share the data to the administration regarding the number of skill workers required by them.
He said that association of government and industrial sector was need of the hour to eliminate the unemployment. Thori said that this would benefit both the youths and industrialists as the youths would get good jobs whereas the industralists would get skilled labour.
Deputy Commissioner said that that this online mega job fair week would be organized under the Ghar Ghar Rozgar Mission of the state government and around 10000 jobs would be offered during this week.
Thori said that this job fair would play an instrumental role in accomplishing the ‘Ghar Ghar Rozgar Yojna’ of the Punjab Government besides providing productive and hardworking workforce to the industrialists.
