SDM, Jiwan Jagjot conducts surprise inspection of PSTET Examination Centre at Nawanshahr on Sunday
Nawanshahr, September 25, 2016: As many as 3113 candidates took Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test at the seven examination centres set up here today. giving details, District Education Officer, Dilbagh Singh, Deputy District Education Officer, Taranjit singh and District Science Supervisor said that in the morning session, PSTET-2 was conducted. Out of total 2696 candidates, as many as 2541 turned up to take the examination. The percentage of attendance was 94.25 %. including 90.85 % ( boys) and 94.75 % ( girls). In the evening session, PSTEt-1 was conducted in which , out of total 624 candidates, as many as 572 appeared in the examination. the attendance percentage remained 91.66 % including 90.25 % ( boys) and 92.12 % ( girls).
Nawanshahr SDM, Jiwan Jagjot conducted surprise inspections of the examination centres. Besides, Assistant Director ( coordination) and Assistant Coordinator, Avinash from the office of DPI(Secondary Education), officials of the education department also visited the examination centres.
