Jalandhar, February 18, 2017: Under the aegis of Buddhist Study Centre,, Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar is celebrating ‘Enlightenment 2017’ which is a unique seven day programme highlighting the relevance of teachings of Lord Buddha in the Contemporary World. On the second day of ‘Enlightenment 2017’ , a Yoga and Meditation Session was organized. Dr. Vinod from Yog Path Sansthan acquainted the faculty members with various Yoga asans and the importance of meditation. He said that Meditation and Yog helps to cope up with stress and lead a healthy life. The faculty members enthusiastically performed various Yog asans.
Principal, Dr. Sucharita expressed her gratitude to Yogacharya. Dr. Vinod for enlightening the faculty members and teaching them various yog asans. She said that the college strives hard to provide a healthy and conducive atmosphere for the staff and students and such meditative sessions will surely help to sensitize our students and staff to stay fit and healthy.
