Ferozepur, April 27: Using his personal influence in the Congress-led government, Parminder Singh Pinki, Congress MLA stated that the problems being faced by the residents of Feozepur will be solved by spending Rs.5.87 crore.
Giving this information, Pinki said that the state government is also planning to establish a new water treatment plant at Basti Tankanwali for which the residents of most of the areas of Ferozepur had complained several times regarding supply of polluted water.
The issue has been discussed with the higher authorities and now a special team will shortly visit Ferozepur for inspection and further action, said Pinki.
He said that to meet the need of the people, 6 new tubewells will also be installed in the vicinity. “The work on water treatment plant near Village Kunde is under progress on war footing level. Meanwhile, the state is also planning to establish a new water treatment plant at Basti Tankan Wali for which land has been demanded from cantonment board and railway authorities”, Pinki added.
On this occasion Pinki also announced the establishment of three new parks in Ferozepur at the cost of Rs. 2.25 Cr.. It is pertinent to mention here that during his last term as MLA, Pinki had established several open air garden gymnasiums, despite being in the opposition.
