Nawanshahr, July 20, 2017 : Jaspal Singh Nagra, district president, Punjab State General Categories Federation, Punjab has lauded the initiative to clear the ACP ( Assured Career Progression) cases of the employees of education at DDO level.
"The innovative and historic decision would ensure hassle free and transparent procedure of granting ACP to the eligible employees after completing the service of 4, 9 and 14 years", said Nagra while adding that it would go a long way in curbing the corrupt practices in the education department.
" Earlier, the teachers have to undergo a cumbersome procedure of demanding cases for the ACP and a lot of grievances and corrupt practices were involved in the process in education department.", said Nagra while thanking the Education Secretary, Krishan Kumar for initiating steps for bringing in administrative reforms in education.
" Now, the Education Secretary, Krishan Kumar has done away with the procedure of demanding cases for ACP and the alleged inordinate delay in clearing the cases at the offices of the Education Department. Henceforth, the APC cases would be cleared at the DDO level, thus making the procedure quite simple, convenient and corruption free, further added Nagra.
