Ferozepur, May 29, 2016: Holding parallel press conferences by the former CPS and BJP MCs, the infighting among two factions of BJP was made public and is also known to the BJP high command and the general people of Ferozepur, but none could guess that this in fight would go to such a disgusting style that beyond sledging on each others, the supporters would be involved in beating each other brutally and go to the police stations. In two separate cases registered in PS City, the police booked 11 eminent names including two women along with 4-5 unidentified persons on the complaints of the two municipal councilors of BJP.
In one case police registered a case on the complaint of BJP councilor Amrjit Narang against Pamma s/O Pritam , Parveen W/O Pritam, Kiran W/O Ashok, Gora S/O Pritam. Billa S/O Pamma all the residents of Gandhi Nagar. In other case another police booked the family of ex president of municipality Davender Kapoor, including his son Rohit, Rahul along with Deepu S/O Kewal Krisahn and Monu S/O Kewal Krishan ang Gora S/O Pamma on the complaint of MC Rajesh Kumar.
It is pertinent to mention that both the MCs, who made the complaints are known to very close to Kamal Shrma, where as the opponent group is known loyal towards ex CPS Nannu. The ex CPS blamed the police to help the BJP councilors Rajesh Kumar and Amarjit Narang. But police had been adopting the policy of just wait and watch, on the name of investigations, due to the reason no arrest has been made so far.
In the meantime, Sukhpal Singh Nannu, former CPS and Halqa Incharge, Ferozepur BJP organized a press conference in the morning highlighting the three different cases of landed property owned by the persons but being claimed by the Municipal Commissioners and Municipal Committee.
In the afternoon, counter press conference was called by the President, Municipal Committee Ashwani Grover alongwith the MCs, denying all the charges. The two MCs also produced the valid documents of properties in their name which the President dig out the case of old property owned by a reputed Kakkar family since 1947 but the documents evidence were in favour of the Committee.
