Fatehgarh Sahib, January 18, 2018: Harpreet Kaur, Kavita Kapoor, Cheshta Bharadwaj, Jagdeep Kaur, Samiley, Manmeet Kaur and Mandeep Saini, former students of Commerce Department of Mata Gujri College brought laurels to the college by cracking UGC-NET examination held in November 2017.
On this occasion, Director Principal Dr. Kashmir Singh congratulated students and said," It is very proud moment for the college that seven students of the single department have cracked UGC examination." He further added that it has been goal of the college to prepare students during their study for the competitive exams so that they can get job after study and secure their future.
While congratulating to the college and students, Director Education Dr. Jatinder Singh Sidhu said, "It is very proud moment that seven students of the single department have cracked UGC examination."
Prof. Bikramjit Singh Sandhu, Head, Commerce Department said, "It is very proud moment for the commerce department that students who have studied in this department have cracked UGC Examination." He further added, "Commerce department always motivates students to appear in competitive exams and helps them to solve their problems in study."
Prof Anwar opined, "Commerce department is making many plans for the students so that they can take advantage of these opportunities and achieve their goals."
On this occasion, students who have passed UGC Examination, said," They have achieved success in this examination because of their teachers and parents." It is important to mention that they have studied on their own and did not take any coaching. Students told that they want to be research scholars and crack such examinations in the future.
On this occasion, Dr. Harjit Kaur, Dr. Shaminder Kaur, Prof. Ravinder Kaur Prof. Rohini Gupta was also present.
