Fatehgarh Sahib, July 20, 2018: The officials must redress the grievances of the people and get their work done with in stipulated period as per the provisions of Right to Service Act, so that they may not face unnecessary harassment in Govt. offices, if anyone found responsible for delay suitable action would be initiated, said Shiv Dular Singh Dhillon Deputy Commissioner, while addressing the district officials in a meeting called to review and further intensify the activities initiated by various departments under mission Tandrust Punjab here today.
He directed the officials to further intensify the activities and to make Tandrust Punjab a public movement by involving every section of society.
He directed the Executive Officers of all the four Municipal Councils Sirhind, Mandi Gobindgarh, Bassi Pathana, Amloh and Khamano to intensify cleanliness drive and to plant trees in their respective councils. He directed sewerage board officials to speed up the ongoing work of laying sewer in Sirhind, Amloh and Bassi Pathana towns.
He directed the revenue officials to put sign boards highlighting to get the copy of mutation from Suvidha Kendars. He directed the Water Supply officials to ensure that all water tubewells in rural and urban areas are in working condition, if any tubewell is out of order they should get it repaired immediately and till then drinking water should be supplied through tankers. He directed the food & Civil Supply officials to ensure that depot holders open their ration depot daily as people are complaining that ration depots are opened once in a week. He directed the Civil Surgeon to ensure that specialist doctors must attend the OPD daily, so that the patients may not suffer. He directed all the SDMs to ensure that all the applications related to demarcation are disposed off immediately.
