Teachers are the role models of the students and they must develop moral values among the students, which they are lacking, so that may become good citizens and took forward our society and Nation as the destiny of the Nation is shaped in class rooms, said Shiv Dular Singh Dhillon Deputy Commissioner, while addressing a function at Sant Namdev Kanya Mahavidalya Girls College Bassi Pathana today.
He called upon the students that to achieve something in life we should work with dedication, honesty, and sincerely moreover there is no short cut for success and hard work is the only key to success. He highly appreciated the role of girls in the present scenario and said they have outnumbered the boys in various fields and in academic sphere, the girl students always perform better than boys.
Nakesh Jindal Manager of the College highlighted the achievements of the college in academic, sports and cultural field. He said college management always stresses for moral values.
On this occasion a play “Mera Parvaj Ki Hai” written by College Principal Dr. Kulbir Kaur was staged and cultural program was organised.
