Jalandhar, October 16, 2018: In a golden opportunity for the residents of the city to have property at key locations in the city at affordable prices, the Jalandhar Development Authority (JDA) has started the e-auction of 78 residential and commercial for prime properties in the Jalandhar city.
Divulging the details, the Chief Administrator of Jalandhar Development Authority (JDA) Vishesh Sarangal said that the authority has called for e-auction of the 78 residential and commercial sites in the district. He said that said that there were seven residential and 29 commercial sites in Canal Rest House, 19 residential sites in Doaba Complex (Gandhi Vineeta Ashram), five commercial sites in Chotti Baradari part II, 15 commercial sites in GTB Nagar store site, three commercial sites in PUDA Complex Ladowali road and others. Sarangal said that the e-auction of these sites have started from October 10, 2018, and would continue till October 22, 2018.
The CA said that the detailed information regarding these prime properties in the city could be taken from websitewww.puda.gov.in. He said that the civic body was expecting a massive response from the people as these properties were situated at prime locations in the city. Sarangal further said that keeping in view the prevailing situation in the market the prices of these properties have been fixed at affordable rates.
Meanwhile, the Additional Chief Administrator (ACA) JDA cum Estate Officer PUDA Dr Jai Inder Singh said as large numbers of people were evincing keen interest in these sites, so the authority has taken a significant decision to set up a help desk cum facilitation centre for the applicants. He said that any person desirous of availing the benefits of this centre for applying for e-auction could approach their office during the working hours. Dr Jai Inder Singh said that the officers/ officials of the authority were duty-bound to facilitate the people for their work. He further said that apart from it 36 residential sites at Urban Estate Kapurthala, 14 in Sultanpur Lodhi, 23 at Seed Farm Mukerian along with 21 commercial sites at Sultanpur were also being e-auctioned.
