Fatehgarh Sahib, October 23, 2018: The rift in the Congress has come out in the open with the organizing of two parallel functions presided over by two cabinet ministers at the same time in a small town of Amloh yesterday. The officers were in a dilemma as to which function to attend and they hopped from one function to another and even some of them had to face the wrath of Minister.
While one function was organized by Kaka Randip Singh MLA Amloh and presided over by Cabinet Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa and also attended by five MLAs Kuljit Singh Nagra, Gurpreet Singh GP, Lakhbir Singh Lakha, Amrik Singh Dhillon and Kotli, whereas the second function was presided over by Sadhu Singh Dharmsot a loyalist of CM Capt. Amrinder Singh. None of the MLA attended his function.
When asked Kaka Randip MLA why he did not attended the function of Sadhu Singh he said that he was neither invited nor intimated. He said that Cabinet Minister should work for strengthening the party than creating confusion.
Sadhu Singh Dharmsot Minister for Forest, while addressing a function at Amloh town today after laying the foundation stone of Environment park to be constructed on 25 Acre of Forest land said that Govt. has decided to cover 15% of the land under forest area by initiating Haryali campaign as due to the large scale felling of tree ecological imbalance has been created so tree plantation is the only solution to save from pollution. Forest department got vacated its thousand acres of land from the encroaches and has decided to construct environment parks on these lands.
On the other hand Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa Cabinet Minister presided over the function of Co-Operative Society Khanian, most profitable society in the country and distributed Rs.1.68 Crore profit among its members. The society had been honoured by President of India. He lashed out at Badals and said father son due are trying to divert the people’s attention from the Bargari issue and turmoil in SAD by taking shield of 1984 riots though they did nothing for 1984 victims except sensationalizing the tragic events for its narrow political gains.
Kaka Randip Singh MLA Amloh demanded Rs.50 Lakh for Co-operation Bhawan in Amloh, Rs.5 Lakh for Gau Shala. Minister announced Rs.25 Lakh for Bhawan and Rs.5 Lakh for Gau Shala.
