Jalandhar, November 03, 2018: In order to sensitize people against the menace of corruption, the UCO Bank today organized a massive awareness rally to mark ‘Vigilance Awareness Week’ in the city in which several officers of the bank took part.
Leading the rally, the Zonal Manager of bank AK Kanthwal, Deputy Zonal Manager ML Sharma and Lead District Manager Watan Singh said that need of the hour was to make concerted efforts for wiping out the curse f corruption from the society. They said that wholehearted support from the people for fight against corruption was required for which the bank was making such efforts. They said that it was high time that all of us must make a firm resolve not to indulge in bribery practices as it was an evil for the society.
The officers said that the rally aims at encouraging all stakeholders to collectively participate in the fight against corruption by raising awareness among the public. They said that the menace of corruption has become a huge concern for society and solicited the support of public to weed out this menace.
Meanwhile, the rally passed from various parts of the city to disseminate the message of eradication of corruption.
