We will intensify the membership drive in clubs: Amanpreet

Kapurthala, 19 November, 2018: Nehru Yuva Kendra Kapurthala in coordination with Sangrok Taikawando Institute India club organised NYKS foundation day function at village, Shekhupra in Kapurthala district on Wednesday.
Members of the club led by its president Deepak Kumar participated in the function, which was presided over by District Programme Coordinator, Amanpreet Kaur.
Addressing the members, DPC Amanpreet Kaur said “The basic purpose for creation of youth clubs is to provide community support through developmental initiatives involving activities with particular focus on youth empowerment”.
Appealing the youth to join the club activities, Amanpreet Kaur disclosed that “the implementation of programs and activities of youth clubs is based on local needs and necessities by mobilizing resources from various government departments and other agencies, which include both national and State level institutions”.
Amanpreet Kaur further said “Our main aim is to involve the rural youth in nation building activities and to develop such skills and values in them with which they become responsible and productive citizens of a modern and secular nation”.
She said “we will intensify the membership drive in various clubs in the coming days and bring more rural youth under their umbrella”.
