Fatehgarh Sahib February 10, 2019: Harinder Singh Khalsa Member of Parliament from Fatehgarh Sahib along with Gurpreet Singh GP MLA from Bassi Pathana yesterday inaugurated a Passport Seva Kendra at post office Bassi Pathana. Now, residents of the district and nearby areas will not have to travel to Chandigarh for passport purpose.
Addressing the gathering Harinder Khalsa said that keeping in view the passport related problems of the people from the area new passport office has been opened at Post Office now the people from the area won’t have to travel to Chandigarh for the passport related problems and the service will be available at their door steps.
Gurpreet Singh GP MLA said that Union Govt. has given great facilities to the people of Bassi Pathana and the adjoining area. He said now after applying passport on-line, all the other related formalities will be undertaken here. He said Bassi Pathana will be developed a mega Diary project has been sanctioned and work is going on war footing. He said more industrial projects will be set up here so that employment is generated.
S.Kaviraj Regional Passport Officer Chandigarh, Anil Kumar Chief Post Master General, Pankaj Kumar Director Dak Sewa and Arti Verma Senior Superintendent Post Office also addressed.
