Chandigarh, March 20, 2019: Sashi Kumar Mukund of India went down fighting to 15th seed Mathias Bourgue of France in two closely sets by 7-5, 6-4 in the singles second round match in the $ 54,160 ATP Challenger Tennis Tournament in Zhangjangang (China) today.
Big server Mathias fired 10 aces and committed just one double fault while Mukund served four aces and committed two doubles faults. Mathias won 30 out of 50 points on first service and 15 out of 26 points on second service. The French player won two out of four break points in the match which lasted one hour and 20 minutes.
Mukund won 25 out of 37 points on first service and 19 out of 34 points on second service. He saved two out of four break points. Mukund earned $520 and three ATP points.
