Fatehgarh Sahib. September.18, 2019: State government is committed to provide job opportunities to youths under Ghar Ghar Rojgar Yojna and continuous efforts are being made in this regard. All is set for Megha job fairs starting from Desh Bhagat University Mandi Gobindgarh tomorrow and will continue till 30th September and approximately more than six thousand jobs will be offered to unemployed in the district Fatehgarh Sahib, said Jaspreet Singh IAS, Additional Deputy Commissioner cum CEO District Bureau of Employment & Enterprises, while interacting with the media here today.
He said that the first job fair would be organized at Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh on September 19 and 20th and on 24th September Job fair would be organized at Mata Gujri College, Fatehgarh Sahib. On September 26, 27 and 28th the youngsters could avail the benefit of job fairs at RIMT University, Mandi Gobindgarh and the job fair would also be organized at Cordia College, Sanghol on September 30th.
ADC(G) said that more than 40 companies which include Max Insurance, Telly Performance, Blue Chip, HDFC, Zomato will offer job opportunities to the participants. He urged the youth to avail the maximum benefit of these job fairs and he directed the officials to create maximum awareness at village level in this regard. He also instructed the officials to ensure the participation of the members of the self help groups and the self employed persons so that they may get the information regarding other Govt. schemes.
