Subjects Experts imparting Hi-End Coaching to along with free food and stay facility

Jalandhar, October 13.2019: In order to groom the student of the government schools for the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE), the state government was imparting free training to the students of the 10th class for the coveted exam under the Padho Punjab, Padhao Punjab campaign.
Divulging the details, the Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Mr. Varinder Kumar Sharma said that National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) was conducted by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) for identifying talented students who want to pursue higher education in Science and Social Studies streams. He said that the of NTSE scheme was to award talented students pursuing an cation in Science and Social Studies stream with scholarships to help continue their education. Mr. Sharma said that in order to ensure that maximum students clear the exam and scale new heights in their career the state government was imparting free coaching for the students of matric class.
The District Education Officer Mr. Harinder Pal Singh said that under this scheme special coaching was being imparted to students of 10th standard for NTSE exam at the local school for Meritorious Children. He said that this coaching was completely free of cost and the students were being imparted training by the highly qualified teachers. Mr. Harvinder Pal Singh said that besides the highly advanced coaching the students were also being provided meals by the government.
Block Mentor (Science) of the Padho Punjab, Padhao Punjab scheme, Ms. Deepali Sharma, who was associated with scheme, said that the best part of the initiative would be that there would be a team of subject experts to train these students for NTSE exam. She said that the initiative would give wings to the aspirations of the students studying in government schools to pursue their career in science.
