Municipal Park to be constructed with cost of Rs. 50 lakh
Ludhiana, November 01, 2019: Fatehgarh Sahib MP Dr Amar Singh today laid the foundation stone of a municipal park at Raikot, near here. This park is coming up with a cost of Rs 50 lakh and it has been a long pending remand of the residents.
While speaking after laying the foundation stone of the municipal park, Dr Amar Singh said that during the elections, he had promised that Raikot would be developed as a model town having all ultra modern amenities. He said that Raikot residents were demanding a municipal park for a long time, where they can spend some quality time. He said that the construction of this municipal park has started on 3.5 acres of land. He said that funds amounting to around Rs 50 lakh would be spent on the construction of this municipal park and if there is need of some additional funds, then that would also be provided.
He said that he is committed for developing Raikot into a model town having all ultra modern amenities. He said that the grant worth crores for completion of sewerage project has also been provided, besides the Bus stand would be modernised and the constriction of a government college and ITI would also start shortly.
