Jalandhar, March 17, 2020: The Additional Deputy Commissioner Mr. Jasbir Singh today asked the officials to expedite the process of computerization of the land record in the district.
Chairing a meeting to oversee the work of computerization of land record in the district here at his office in the District Administrative Complex, the Additional Deputy Commissioner said that it was the need of the hour to facilitate the people for getting the vital documents related to their land on a single click of their computer. He said that more than 98% of the work on this project has been already completed and the rest needs to be done in expedite manner for the convenience of the masses. Mr. Jasbir Singh said that land record in 1090 Revenue villages out of 1104 in the district has already been computerized.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner now the due focus must be laid on completing the work in 14 urban villages in the city. He said that this work needs to be done on a war footing, for which he would be regularly monitoring this work personally. Jasbir Singh asked all the Revenue Officers to ensure the completion of this work in a highly professional and time-bound manner.
On the occasion District System Manager Arun Gupta, Revenue Officers Rupinder Singh Bal, Vijay Kumar and others were also present.
