Officials of World Kabaddi League in Jalandhar

The World Kabaddi League (Season-2) will be held at Olympian Surjit Hockey Stadium, Burlton Park Jalandhar from October 2.
In a press conference held at Hotel Country Inn, all the three owners along with the Captains of all the six participation teams were introduced with the Press & Media Persons.
According to Kmaljit Singh Hayre, Commissioner, World Kabaddi League addressed the media persons that Six Teams nemely Former Champion United Singhs (UK), Runners Up Khalsa Warriors (India) California Eagles (USA), Punjab Tigers (USA), Milwaukee Wolves (USA) and Royal Kings (USA) are partcipating in this 21 days long kabaddi league.. The league will be played at three vanues i.e. Jalandhar from 2 to 9 Ocober, Bathinda from 12 to 16 October and Mohali on 21 & 22 October, 2016. The Semi finals and Finals matches of the league will be played at Mohali.
The Winner team will ger a cash prize of Rs. 1.00 crore, Runnrs-up will get Rs. 50 lakhs while team placed at 3rd position will pocketed Rs. 25.00 Lakhs in cash. Daily best Raider & Stapper will be adjudged from each match and awarded suitably.
The owners of the teams are agriculturist NRI Mr. Sarb Thiara (USA), Transporter, famer & Builders Mr. Surjit Singh Tut (Tut Brothers of USA) and Bussinessman & Builders Mr. Talwinder Singh Hayre (UK) The Captains of the teams are :

There will be cultrual programme at at Jalandhar on Octber 2, Bathinda on October 16 and Mohali on 21 October.
The league will be inagurated by Mr. Vijay Sampla, Union Minister of State for Social Jutice & Empowerment and Mr. Sikander Singh maluka, Minister for Rural Development & Panchayats, Punjab will preside over the function. mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal, Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab will be the Chief Guest on the final day of the league. There will be no gate money for the spoectators who will come to witness the matches. The matches will be held in the evening. All the matches of the league will be televcasted on PTC Channel world wide. In press conference, Mr. Ranbir Singh Tut, Additional Commissioner and Mr.Ranjit Singh Tut , CEO was also present
