Chandigarh, September 28, 2016: The International Amateur Athletic Federation ractified world Under-20 javelin record of 86.48 which was set by Indian thrower Neeraj Chopra in the IAAF World Under-20 Athletic Championship in Bydgoszes (Poland) on July 26. The earlier world U-20 record was standing in the name of Zigismunds Sirmais (LAT) which was set in Bauska on June 22 2011.
The IAAF also ractified world records in 100m hurdles for women, 10,000 metres for women, 400m for men and women's hammer throw.
