Chandigarh, September 19, 2020: Hartek Solar Private Limited, the rooftop solar division of the Chandigarh-based Hartek Group, donates solar streetlights to Shri Chamkaur Sahib as part of its CSR initiative.
Expected to benefit close to 2000 individuals, the project is part of the groups’ corporate responsibility initiatives that aims to enhance local communities through socially meaningful projects. The solar streetlights provided by Hartek will improve the quality of life for the people by fulfilling basic power amenities. With no added financial stress, the village will be reducing their carbon footprint. This step towards renewable energy will further inspire and educate people on the relevance of going green that is the need of the hour today.

Solar streetlights are the best as being a renewable source they reduce our carbon footprint and put no financial burden on the Gram Panchayat members of Ferozpur. This CSR initiative by Hartek has made villagers feel more secure and confident.”
