Fatehgarh Sahib. May 22, 2020 : The ongoing conflict between the Ministers, ruling party MLAs and bureaucrats over the illegal liquor trade in the State is just to share the booty and it raises question over the governance of Capt. Amrinder Singh as Chief Minister. There is anarchy in the State CM has no control over his own party MLAs and bureaucracy as both have been allowed to loot the State resources and he is watching as a mute spectator moreover the government has failed on all fronts and every section of society is annoyed from the performance of the government, said AAP MLA Baljinder Kaur, while interacting with media persons here today.
She alleged that everyone knows on whose behest illegal distilleries and liquor trade is going on in the State and how the public money is being pocketed by ruling and SAD(B) leaders in connivance. She dared CM to come clean on the issue and get it enquired from the sitting High Court Judge.
She alleged that the governments cannot be run just by sitting in forts and bungalows, the rulers have to visit every nook and corner of the State to get first hand information about the grievances of the people and to redress it on their door steps, but surprisingly CM has never stepped out of his bungalow and not even bothered to visit his own constituency.
Answering query about the distribution of ration and other facilities during lock down, she said that the ration sent by the state government was distributed by the ruling party leaders and instead of giving it to needy it was distributed keeping in view the vote bank, which is very unfortunate as the real beneficiaries could not get it.
Answering about relief package of Rs.20 Lakh Crore by Modi Government, she termed it as another “ Jumla” of BJP and said package does not mean to give money as loan package mean to give relief.
