34 from Punjab, 5 from Mohali
Mohali passengers under institutional/hotel quarantine
S. A. S. Nagar, May 31, 2020: The second international flight, after the lockdown came into effect, to Chandigarh from Kiev (Ukraine) via Delhi on 31.05.2020 landed at the Chandigarh International Airport Limited (CHIAL) early morning at 03:12 AM with 144 passengers from various states. This was disclosed here today by the Deputy Commissioner Girish Dayalan.
He further added that flight included 2 passengers from Chandigarh, 54 from Himachal Pradesh, 53 from Haryana, 34 from Punjab which included 5 from Mohali and 1 from Rajasthan.
As per the Health Department protocol, all the passengers belonging to Mohali District arriving through International flight have been put in the institutional/hotel quarantine while those coming via domestic flights, have been put under home quarantine for 14 days. Those passengers who belong to other States and Other Districts were sent to their respective places where they would undergo similar quarantine.
