Assures to resolve issues related to proposed Clinical Establishment Act
Chandigarh, June 22, 2020: In view of COVID-19 crisis, Punjab Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu on Monday appealed to the Indian Medical Association (IMA) to withdraw their strike announced to begin from June 23, 2020 against the proposed Clinical Establishment Act.
The Minister said that Punjab Government is ready to discuss all issues raised by the IMA over the proposed Clinical Establishment Act so that people of state could not suffer to get the healthcare facilities from private health sector during the ongoing crisis of COVID-19 pandemic. He said that Punjab is doing well to curtail the spread of COVID-19 and all issues to be sorted out amicably.
