Fatehgarh Sahib, July 01, 2020: Though Gurpreet Singh Randhawa member SGPC from Fatehgarh Sahib welcomed the decision of officiating Jathedar of Akal Takhat Sahib Giani Harpreet Singh to order the enquiry into missing Saroops of Guru Granth Sahib, but he demanded that either the Akal Takhat Jathedar should have conducted enquiry at his own or the enquiry should be entrusted to a Gur Sikh Judge of High Court instead of SGPC team as how a guilty and those facing allegations can conduct their own enquiry fairly. He said that let the High Court Judge Conduct enquiry and the complainant and the SGPC should put forward their versions before him only then truth will come out, otherwise the SGPC team under the dictates of Badal family will put forward a misleading report making its employees a scapegoat. He said that moreover the enquiry committees have never provided justice; rather these are formed to delay and hush up the matter. He said that the Jathedar have also stressed for impartial enquiry, which indicates that there must be in his mind that enquiry may not be impartial by the SGPC team.
He said that the SGPC on the directions of Badal family kept the Sikh Sangat in dark about the missing of Saroops from the last four years and the Senior VP of SGPC Rajinder Singh Mehta and Dr. Roop Singh are telling lie and misleading the Sangat that only 14 Saroops were burnt. He said that SGPC had enacted a law that if any Saroop is burnt or found missing FIR will be registered against the responsible employee, why the FIR has not been registered.
